This is a legacy article from the old website. This document seems to be related to the Tactics In War document and therefore the same clan. Therefore, please consider it only for the sake of curiosity as it tells us little about the clans we are interested in.
The answer to this question all depends whether we are talking 2nd Age or 3rd Age. Up until the launch of the new Runequest nearly all play in Glorantha was 3rd Age. There were the Lunar invaders and then there were the plucky whoever, usually the Orlanthi. Now we have a game set in the time of the Empire of the Wyrms Friends and all the old understanding about the Orlanthi, Dragon Pass and Prax is now uncertain. We don’t even know the names of tribes in Dragon Pass, for example.
In the 3rd Age the Foxheader are a Culbrea clan on the frontier between Torkani lands and Prax. They are allied with some Pol Joni clans. In the 2nd Age the Foxheader are a clan in the Mursax tribe and are allied with the Horse People.
Am I saying that the Foxheader are a clan who have remained intact since the 2nd Age in Dragon Pass? Am I saying they survived the Dragonkill? Probably not. I expect, should it become important, that the Foxheader were reformed when poor immigrants came north looking for new lands and reactivated a barely living guardian spirit. Or maybe the Mursax were decimated by civil war and the remains of the clan sought refuge with their allies the Horse People. They migrate, keep their customs intact and are out of the country when the Dragonkill occurs.
